Legend has it that in 1967, near Mount Kilimanjaro in Africa, a lightning strike ignited a fierce fire on the land. After the fire burned out, the local Maasai people discovered a previously unseen blue mineral, which turned out to be Tanzanite.
Currently located at the base of Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, East Africa, it remains the only source of Tanzanite in the world. On average, only 12 grams of Tanzanite are produced from one metric ton of ore, with only 1% of this being gem-quality. According to experts from the Tanzanite Foundation, "The probability of finding Tanzanite deposits with similar geological structures elsewhere in the world is less than one in a million; in other words, Tanzanite is 1,000 times rarer than diamonds. At the current rate of mining, it is estimated that less than 25 years of supply remains."

This is a custom-designed gemstone pendant necklace for a couple in love. The design features Tanzanite as the main stone, chosen for its romantic and affectionate hues of blue-violet and yellow-green. The feather elements symbolize their shared sentiments, enabling them to soar together to a broader and more distant world.
Both individuals graduated with degrees in psychology; one has a passion for music, while the other enjoys magic. This handcrafted gemstone pendant incorporates their interests and personal birthdate codes, along with subtle blessings for each other.
Tanzanite is found exclusively in the treasure-rich region of Tanzania and is also the deep blue gemstone famously featured on the Titanic’s "Ocean Star." It symbolizes "eternity" and "love."
The changing colors of Tanzanite are incredibly rich and captivating, making it a unique gem worth preserving and collecting. In the imagery of Tanzanite, "owning this gemstone fills life with surprises and rewards, with endless opportunities for discovery and experience."
